Welcome to the VisLab! The VisLab at Mississippi State is part of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering within the James Worth Bagley College of Enginering. The VisLab consists of three faculty members and several students in association with the Institute for Neurocognitive Science and Technology, the High Performance Computing Collaboratory, the Center for Computer Security Research, and the Institute for Digital Biology. Our laboratory focuses on state-of-the-art research in information and scientific visualization, augumented and virtual reality, and empirical human factors. This research is facilitated by the latest in high-resolution display walls, augmented reality displays, emmersive virtual reality laboratories, and similar equipment. This research has resulted in several publications and is supported by an extensive cirriculum in visualization, computer graphics, and similar areas.
